Message from the CEO

We are keen to hear of local experiences with SA Ambulance Service responses in regional areas.
There is growing anecdotal reporting of long response times and service levels that are not meeting local expectations. The CSAPHN is aware of increasing difficulties with recruitment and retention of local volunteer officers and the resulting closure of Ambulance Stations during day or night times, dependant on crew availability.

While finding a solution doesn’t exactly fit the remit of the PHN, it is impacting General Practice and Hospitals in their need to transfer patients to acute care in Adelaide, or regional locations and it is impacting patients awaiting need in their homes, or on the roadside, or workplace. Primary Health Procurement Activity

Have you checked your details on TenderLink recently?

Country SA PHN (CSAPHN) exists to bridge the gap of health inequity and access in rural South Australia by building a collaborative and responsive health care system. We do this by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of medical service delivery while improving the coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.

CSAPHN has moved towards a commissioning model of operation. As part of our commissioning process we advertise Requests for Tenders (RFTs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs) using TenderLink - an online e-Procurement system. Organisations who wish to apply for CSAPHN tenders, and receive tender notifications must register on the e-Procurement system. To register as a potential supplier visit

Organisations already registered via TenderLink are reminded to regularly check and update their contact details with TenderLink, to ensure timely receipt of notifications. Please contact TenderLink on 1800 233 533 for all registration queries and support.
